The Pharmaceuticals industry is not immune to Digital Transformation. A majority of the executives we surveyed reported that it represents a competitive opportunity for their firms. Though the promise of Digital Transformation is real, few firms have translated it into a firm-level transformation. Some pharmaceuticals firms have made strides in leveraging digital technologies in the customer experience or within their operations - others have not. Yet, most firms are far behind other companies in building robust transformation management practices. Consequently, like many firms in the sector, the pharmaceuticals industry overall is a Beginner in its digital maturity.
