Barbara Spitzer is the Co-Head of our HR Transformation practice.
Barbara is a Vice President with Capgemini and has 23 years of experience in human capital consulting across multiple industries including Energy & Utilities, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Financial Services. Barbara runs Capgemini Consulting’s global Employee Transformation practice and is Capgemini’s lead Relationship Executive responsible for National Grid. Barbara and her team are currently supporting Project Marlborough in the US and prior to the KeySpan acquisition, Barbara delivered a wide range of projects including performance culture transformation, leadership development, change management and HR transformation.
Over the course of Barbara’s career, she has held a number of leadership positions in the areas of Workforce Planning, Organization Design, HR Transformation, Change Management and Leadership Development. Barbara has dedicated her career to helping companies address their most pressing people-related challenges in the face of major transformation. She founded and led Capgemini’s New York Accelerated Solutions Environment (ASE) and is a top-level certified large scale workshop facilitator. Currently, in her global leadership role, Barbara is spearheading Capgemini’s research on PeopleVision 2020, a point of view on the most important people trends businesses are facing in this decade. Throughout her career, Barbara has authored a number of publications on Leadership, Change Management and HR Transformation.
Barbara is located in New York and holds a Masters degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from James Madison University. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, biking, skiing and scuba diving.
